Margarite Rachel Howell Services for Margarite Rachel Howell will be held Tuesday April 23 at10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with reverend Randy Scarbrough officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery in Rosedale, MS at 4:00 P.M. with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Margarite Howell, 80, of Meridian died Saturday April 20, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 12, 1932 in Pace, MS to Ed and Virgie Barr. Mrs. Howell graduated from Cleveland High School and married Donald Howell on December 27, 1950. Before moving to Meridian, Mrs. Howell lived in Greenville, MS, where she and her husband owned and operated an electronics store. They moved to Meridian in 1993 and she opened Century 21Howell Realty. She sold the business in 2003 and retired in 2006 due to health reasons. She will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew her. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Costello and Son-in-law Tom, of Meridian; a sister, Louise Western of Oceanside California; and grand children, Tina Page and T.J. Costello: great-grand children Joe Pribelsky, Tyler Sloan, Mitch Fletcher, Danielle Page, Dana Page, Tommy Costello, and Claudia Jace Cornett Dobbs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Howell, a son, Donald Hugh Howell Jr.; a brother, Thomas Barr; and her parents.
