Marie Bailey

Services for Marie Bailey of Meridian, MS, age 99, will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Augustine Palimattam officiating; burial in St. Patrick Church Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019 with the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home led by the Knights of Columbus. Pall bearers are various members of the Knights of Columbus, Council #802.

Ms. Bailey was a life-long member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, a graduate of the original Catholic School, St. Aloysius Academy, now known as St. Patrick Catholic School; a long time employee of Southern Pipe. A member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxilary; St. Patrick Church Active Christian Enthusiastic Seniors “Aces” group; and Our Lady of Fatima Sodality.

Survivors include various nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

Ms. Bailey is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph, Sr. and Evelyn Erben Bailey; sisters, Olga Bailey, Lucille Bailey Thomas, Delores Bailey Herring; and brothers, Louis Bailey, Sr., and Dr. Joseph Bailey, Jr.

Donations may be given in lieu of flowers to St. Patrick Catholic School.
