Marie Meredith

Marie Meredith, age 78, of Marion, MS, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at her home.

Marie worked for many years as a Nurse's Assistant at East Mississippi State Hospital.

She is survived by her sisters Joyce Slayton and Teresa Spivey (Jesse), and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Meredith, father, Ernest Slayton Sr., mother, Margie Fontaine, and brother Ernest Slayton Jr.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
