Marie Ella (Mickey) Flanagan Shaw Graveside services for Mrs. Marie Ella (Mickey) Shaw will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Shaw, 94, of Meridian, died Tuesday February 15, 2011 at Kentwood Nursing Home in Augusta, GA. Mrs. Shaw worked for many years as a Realtor in Meridian, retiring only in 1989. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and attended First Christian Church. Mrs. Shaw was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 11, 1917, the youngest of five children of John and Mary Flanagan. She married George Wayne Shaw on December 1, 1945 and they moved to Meridian, Mississippi. She is survived by her only child, Karen Shaw Burch and her husband George of Thomson, GA; step-son, George Wayne Shaw, Jr., and his wife Judy of Sanford, FL; step-daughter, Sandra Shaw Williams of Granberry, TX; grandson, Christopher Shaw Burch; granddaughter, Margaret Flanagan Burch; six step-grandchildren, Sharon Shaw Huffman and her husband Michael, Jess Williams and his wife Carol, Debbie Williams Greer and her husband Terry, Michael Williams and his wife Debbie, Ashlie Williams Heiser and her husband Scott, Jason Williams and his wife Rosalyn.
