Marilyn Dolores Dean Simcox Funeral services for Marilyn Dolores Dean Simcox will be held Friday, June 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Marilyn Simcox, age 70, of Meridian, MS passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at Bedford Care Center. Marilyn was a 1962 graduate of Meridian High School. She was a former nurse at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in the newborn nursery for 10 years. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Meridian. She was a loyal, loving wife of 51 years and a mother of 3 children. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her life and inspiration. Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Simcox, Jr.; daughter, Sarah Dolores Maus of Orlando, FL; son William "Billy" Simcox III and wife Pamela Simcox of Orlando, FL; daughter, Amber Carlise and husband Chris Carlise of Collinsville, MS; sisters, Pat Gray of Meridian, Sarah Hill of St. Cloud, FL, Rosalie Jones of Collinsville, Betty Burnside of Meridian; brothers, George and Kathy Dean of Lilburn, GA, Clayton and Pam Dean of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, David Anthony Maus, Tyler Maus and Savannah Maus of Orlando, FL, Lainie Simcox of Meridian, Brianna Simcox and William Simcox IV of Orlando, FL, Rilyn Fitzgerald, Ellie Carlise, Chloe Carlise, Cole Carlise, and Cain Carlise of Collinsville, MS; great-grandchildren, Ava Maus and Ella Maus; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Dean. Pallbearers will be Chris Carlisle, David Anthony Maus, Tyler Maus, Nick Bentley, Terry Haskett, Mike Evans, Jeffrey Sears and David Hamilton.
