Marita Jane Bailey

Graveside services for Mrs. Marita Jane Bailey will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1:00pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Bailey, age 84, of Meridian, passed away Friday, January 12, at Bedford Care Center.

She was an active member of Central United Methodist Church. She served as the switchboard operator at Meridian Public Schools, Meridian Community College, and Mattie Hersey Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Vernon L. Bailey and one daughter, Janice Parks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Aline Covington; and sister, Mary Lou Barr.
