Marjorie Stanley Services for Marjorie Stanley will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Robert Slaughter officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Stanley, 69, of Meridian, died Monday October 18, 2010 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Stanley was a housewife and homemaker. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her husband Richard Stanley of Meridian; three daughters Annette Bone and her husband Gary of Meridian; Alana Niedergerke and her husband Robert of Layton, Utah; Rita Atkinson and husband Ronald of Johnson City, New York; one son Jared Stanley and his wife Jennifer of Toomsuba; two brothers Alan Marsden of Bountiful, Utah; Derek Marsden of Yorkshire England; one sister Beatrice Ditty of Sacramento, California; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Larry Macrander and her brother Roy Marsden. The family request memorials to be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
