Marjorie Wilkinson Boswell Tester A memorial service for Marjorie Wilkinson Boswell Tester will be held Monday, December 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Leon Ballard and Reverend David Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Marjorie was born on January 16, 1935 and died December 11, 2012, at her home in Meridian. She was surrounded by her family. She fought a courageous battle with cancer and never lost her positive attitude. She had a passion and love for the piano. She taught piano lessons for many years and played at several churches in Meridian but found a special home at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. Her love of playing the piano and singing with her siblings warmed the hearts of all who knew her. Marjorie was an avid bridge player, loved all kinds of needlework and was an enthusiastic sports fan. Many people around the south remember her talent for making fudge and her generous heart that shared it. She is survived by her husband of twenty years, John Tester; son Butch Boswell (Edith); daughter Kathy Boswell. Step children John III, Brian and Angela Tester. She leaves five grandchildren Carrie Ainsworth (Mike), Hunter Davis (Mandy), Chase Davis (Kelly), Braxton Boswell (Courtney), Shane Garrett (Kathi) and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings Joe Wilkinson (Edwina), Sarah Rutledge (Bobby), Bill Wilkinson (Dartha), David Wilkinson (Delma); numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many close and special friends. She is preceded in death by her parents V.G. and Lorraine Wilkinson, her first husband Jimmie Boswell and his parents Red and Mary Boswell. The family requests memorials be made to Grace Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund, 7330 Highway 493, Meridian, MS 39305 Visitation will be held Sunday December 16, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
