Mark Edward Freeman

A private family graveside service for Mr. Mark Freeman will be held at a later date. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Mark Freeman, age 56, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Baptist Anderson’s Medical Center. Mark was a loving and kind father, grandfather, and friend. He had a generous soul and cared for everyone he met. He spent countless hours fishing and hunting and enjoyed being outdoors. His favorite past time was being with his family and watching all the Alabama football games. If you knew Mark, you knew he loved a wide variety of music and loved learning new songs. Mark was loved by many friends and family and will be dearly missed. “Love you, forever!” – Mark Freeman.

Mark Freeman is survived by his five children, Morgan Veliz (Bryan), Christopher Freeman, Chelsy Beesley (Hunter), Trinity Byrd (Cameron), and Patricia Freeman; six grandchildren, Colton Willingham, Dawson Beesley, Landon Ayala, Valery Veliz, Mallory Veliz, and expecting Parker Byrd, and three siblings, Tammy Freeman (Bruce), Chris Freeman, and William Fleming.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Faye Fleming and one brother, Raymond Freeman.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Byrd, Hunter Beesley, Bryan Veliz, Colton Willingham, Jim Barfield, Bruce Freeman, and Dustin Freeman.
