Marshall Joyner

Graveside services for Marshall Joyner will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Dan Fulton officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Joyner, age 66, of Meridian passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

He fought a battle with a stroke and other debilitating illnesses for a long time. We now take comfort that he will suffer no more, being comforted in the arms of Jesus.

He was a building contractor for many years and all who knew him loved him. He will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his son, Marshall “Bebo” Joyner Jr.;  mother, Wilma Miller; sister, Gay Fulton (Dan); brother, Herbert Joyner (Terri) ; step-brothers, Les Joyner (Lacy) and Danny Joyner (Kim); and granddaughter, Dakota Joyner.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Joyner; father, Lester Joyner; and his son, Jacob Joyner, who succumbed to cancer at age 29.
