Martha Carol Brooks

A Celebration of life service for Martha Carol Doerner Brooks will be held at 6 p.m. on September 22nd, her 64th birthday, at Pine Forest Baptist Church on Center Hill—Martin Road.

She went to be with Jesus June 29th, 2016.

Martha Carol grew up in Bailey, Mississippi and graduated from West Lauderdale High School. She worked for 25 years for East Mississippi State Hospital. Martha Carol retired 10 years ago and moved to Sweetwater, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her father, Duluth Doerner.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Doerner (Bailey); daughter, Christy Brooks; grandsons, Christopher (Crissy) and Casey (Angie) Breen; great grandchildren, Cherish Breen, Payson Breen and Bryson Millsaps (all of Sweetwater, Tennessee); sister, Sandra Doerner; aunt, Elouise Ethridge and uncle, Olin Doerner.
