Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Jean Burrage will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Martha Jean Burrage, age 91, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Bedford Care Center of Marion.

Mrs. Burrage was a graduate of Noxapater High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Social Studies and a minor in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She was a longtime member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Burrage Young (Darrin); and her grandchildren, Kailey Young and Hayden Young (Alli).

Mrs. Burrage was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin Clyde and Nannie Lou Ellis McBrayer; her husband, William Leo Burrage; her children, William Irvin Burrage, Michael Lee Burrage, and daughter, Donna Gay Burrage; as well as her siblings, Joe Irvin McBrayer and Virginia Carolyn Haggard.
