Mrs. Everett, 85, of the Russell Community, died Sunday April 5, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness.
In her retirement, Martha Ann enjoyed painting landscapes. She also loved cooking and sharing meals with family, friends, and members of the community and church. She also enjoyed her water aerobics group and their outings and lunch dates. She was a member of Russell Baptist Church where she attended as long as her health allowed.
Mrs. Martha Ann is survived by her children, Marsha Buckley (Don) and Robbie Everett (Shannon); her grandchildren, Matthew Buckley (Rachael), Natalie Buckley, Nicholas Everett, Samuel Everett, and Maxine Everett; one great-grandson, Alex Michael Buckley; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mrs. Everett is preceded in death by her husband, R.E. “Blonde” Everett; her infant son, Michael Everett; her parents, Buddy Parks and Geneva Parks Lyle; and her brother, Norman Parks.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
The Everett Family suggest, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made as donations to Russell Baptist Church.
