Martha Dease Harris Graveside services for Martha Dease Harris will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11:30 at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Thomas J. Wood officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Harris, 90, of Meridian, died Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Specialty Hospital. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Harris served as a clerk stenographer during World War II, at the Key Field Army Air Force Base. She also worked as a clerk in the audit department with Sears and Roebuck and as secretary at Kay's Clothing Store. Survivors include her son, Charles Richard "Butch" Harris and his wife Pam Wood Harris of Meridian; granddaughter, Holley Anne Harris; niece, Anita Diane Farrar of Oxon Hill, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Eugene Harris; parents, Charles R. and Ida B. Dease; sisters, Amelie Dease Farrar and Marjorie Anita Dease.
