Services for Mary Alma Fairchild will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Fairchild, 79, of Meridian, died April 2, 2010 at Riley Hospital. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Survivors include her daughters, Lois Fairchild, of Meridian, Tina Garrett and her husband, Michael of Meridian, sons, Larry Fairchild of Meridian, James Sims of Meridian, Ray Fairchild of Meridian, and Billy Fairchild of Meridian, grandchildren, Sheila Fairchild, Megan Fairchild, Reggie Fairchild, Larry Fairchild the second, Larry Fairchild the third Phillip Fairchild, and Nick Portis, three great grandchildren, Jalen Portis, Jordan Portis, and Larry Fairchild the fourth. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Fairchild and sister, Mattie Grayson, brothers, James Mitchell and Gene Mitchell.
