Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Bynum will begin at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Jeff Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored and privledged to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Bynum, 104, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Bedford Care Center of Marion.

Mary enjoyed being both indoors and outdoors. She enjoyed reading and fishing in her spare time. She loved gardening; especially irises. She loved cooking for her family. Mrs. Bynum was born and raised at Riverside in Enterprise, Mississippi, where she also celebrated her 100th birthday. She loved being around her family and friends at any opportunity she was afforded. Mary loved all her grandchildren dearly. She was a lifelong member of Fifteenth Ave. Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mary is survived by her son, Jimmy Bynum (Henri Sue); grandchildren, Vicki Vinson, Kathy McDonald, John Clark, Jim Bynum and Charlie Bynum. Great-grandchildren, Carla Murphy, Lindsay Stevens, Callie Vinson, Ryan Clark, Katie Timms, Jason Clark, Jared Bynum, Kelcey Hall, Taylor Bynum, Alex Clark and Charlotte Bynum.  Eleven Great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Bynum, and daughter, Barbara Jo Bynum Clark.

The family request memorials be made to The American Heart Association or to Fifteenth Ave. Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
