Mary Covington Chaney

A Celebration of Life Service for Mary Covington Chaney from Ocean Springs, Mississippi will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Chaney passed away on December 3, 2019 at the age of 94. Born December 23, 1924, in Bailey, Mississippi, from the union of Thomas Linton Covington and Ruby Mae Gibson, she was the 8 ^th of 12 children. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Chaney, her parents, and all but two of her siblings.

She is survived by her sons, John and Steve (Diane) Chaney; granddaughter, Kimberly Chaney; grandsons, Brian and Allen (Sascha) Chaney; great-granddaughter, Rylee and great-grandson, Beck; brother, Tommy (Glenda) Covington; sister, Patsy (Dewain) Flowers; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
