Mary Ester Eaks Services for Mary Ester Eaks will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend A.M. Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Eaks, age 87, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at her residence. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Meridian and will be missed for her beautiful tenor voice. Mrs. Eaks retired from Burnley Shirt Factory. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Homer R. Eaks of Meridian; daughter, Mary Ruth Mason and husband, David, of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Laron Mason and wife, Wanda, of Houston, TX, Brandi Faulkner and husband, Justin, of Santa Fe, TN; great grandchildren, Hanna Mason, Carolyn Mason, Riley Mason, and McKinley Faulkner; sister, Naomi White and husband, Reverend S.T. White, of Quitman; brother, Paul Moore of Quitman; sister, Joan Skinner and husband, Kerry, of Maryville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brucie and Oscar Moore; sister, Rachel Moore; and sister-in-law, Hazel George. Pallbearers will be Grady Joe Richardson, Donald Cooksey, Buddy Cooksey, Rod Cheatham, Wayne Faircloth, Dr. LaRon Mason and Justin Faulkner.
