Funeral services for Mary “Faye” Fason will be held Wednesday, February 11, at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Brother Bill Freeman and Brother Randy Price officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn.
Mrs. Fason, 81, of Collinsville, passed away Sunday, February 8, at her residence.
Mrs. Fason was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who always put her family first. She always shared the Lords love with everyone she met, and God’s love always shined through her eyes. She was a seamstress, homemaker, and a childcare giver for her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna (Wade) Williams; sons, Bobby (Debbie) Fason and David (Marie) Fason; grandchildren, Colby Fason, Jessi Winstead, Mandy Busby, Misty Mabry, Morgan Clark, Montana Fason, Chet Nicklas and Lindsey Nicklas; she’s also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 62 years, Harvey Fason; parents, Sam and Minnie Cumberland.
Pallbearers will be Sam Sumerall, Ragan Mabry, Josh Clark, Chet Nicklas, Chris Carpenter, and Daniel Winstead.
