Mary Gipson

Funeral services for Mary Gipson will be held Monday, February 17, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with The Reverend Morris Thompson officiating. Private burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Mrs. Mary Gipson, age 62, of Meridian passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Rush Foundational Hospital.

Mary had a caring heart which lead her to be a great volunteer for Senior citizens, Red Cross events and her community. She loved quilting and sewing also helping others learn this craft as well. She loved her family and friends and will be truly missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her husband of over 43 years Scott Gipson; son, Mike Gipson; grandson, Cooper Gipson; sister, Debbie Tawney; brother, Richard White; niece, Catherine Tawney; father-in-law, E.M. “Hoot” Gipson; mother-in-law, Doris W. Gipson; brothers-in-law, Steven Mark Gipson (Dee) and James Keith Gipson (Teresa); our close friends from The Chill Group.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Thomas Miller and Louise Rankin White and grandmother, Virginia Rankin.
