Mary Ellene Jones Services for Mary Ellene Jones will be held Sunday, February 6, 2011 at 2:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Leon Everett. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Newton County. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jones 76 of Lauderdale, died Thursday, February 3, 2011 at her residence. She was a member of Grace United Baptist Church, Decatur, MS and a native of Hickory, MS. Mrs. Jones was retired from Rush Foundation Hospital after ten years of service. She loved to quilt and do word books. Mrs. Jones enjoyed the outdoors and living life. Survivors include her daughter, Norma Jean Shoemake and her husband, Shane of Lauderdale; granddaughter, Johnnie Jean Williams, Andrew Flow of Dallas, OR; great grandchildren, Brayden and Payton Flow; sister, Geraldene Taylor and her husband Leon of Steens, MS; brother, Terry Todd and his wife Dianne of Hickory, MS; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward A. Jones; parents, David and Bessie Todd; sister, Waudene Pugh; brothers, Wayne Todd, G.W. Todd and W.A. Todd. Pallbearers will be Joe Pugh, Curtis Pugh, John Todd, Kelly Todd, Terry Taylor, Sr., Danny Todd and Dewayne Todd. Family and friends may sign online guestbook at roberbarhamffh.com.
