Mary Lou Mclemore

Private Graveside Services will be held at Lakewood Cemetery in Jackson at a later date. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. McLemore, 88, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at her home at Aldersgate Assisted Living in Meridian.

Mary Lou worked for many years in the Insurance Industry including F.W. Williams and U.S.F.&G.  and was also active in Insurance Women of Mississippi. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, formerly State Boulevard Baptist Church. Mary Lou loved the Fall and SEC Football, she also enjoyed living at Aldersgate. We, her family have no words to express our gratitude for the care they provided to her.

Survivors include her son, John Scott McLemore of Sacramento, CA; sister-in-law, Ruth McCraw as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis L. McLemore; parents, John W. and Mae McCraw; brother, J.W. McCraw, and nephews Bill McCraw and Sanford McCraw.

The family request memorials be made as donations to Faith Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
