Mrs. Reeves, 84, of Meridian, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at her home.

Mary had a strong affinity for family. She was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her caring virtue, intelligence, honesty, integrity and tremendous love for her family. She was a homemaker for several years and once her children were grown she continued her education and received a degree in Computers and Business. She then went to work at Robinson Electric for many years before she and her husband retired. Mary was an agile tennis player in her younger years. On the courts, she was a stellar athlete and beauty who caught the eye of her future husband. Throughout her life, she was an avid reader, superb bridge player, an artisan, and excellent cook. Mary thoroughly loved spending time with her family, both near and far. Often spending weekends with family in Meridian as well as traveling across the country to stay weeks at a time with family afar. Nothing brought her more joy, than being with her family. Mary was loved by all and returned that love and laughter tenfold.

Mary is survived by her children, Howard E. (Ed) Reeves Jr., Bobby Reeves (JoAnna), Ellen Wright (Jeoff), and Todd Reeves; grandchildren, Howard E. (Bubba) Reeves III (Michelle), Amie McDonald (Kerby), Lorrie Clark (J), Rachel Temple (Parker), Parker Reeves, Morgan Reeves, and Taylor Reeves; brother, Bill Hendrey (Judy), and sister-in-law, Bonnie Johnson (Chuck);10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Reeves, Sr.; her father, Charles Ray Henry and her mother, Francis Henry; sister, Rita Cheyne and brother-in-law, Don Cheyne, Sr.
