Funeral services for Mary Aileen Hearn Roberts will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Episcopal Church of the Mediator 3825 35th Ave, Meridian, MS 39305 with the Reverend Ezgi Saribay Perkins and the Reverend Patrick Perkins officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Mary Aileen Hearn Roberts, age 88, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at home in Meridian, MS.

Mary was born in Meridian in 1937 to Henry and Jewel Hearn. She loved to read, cook, and spend time with her children and grandchildren. Mary was a loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother and friend to all and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Miles Shelton Roberts of Meridian, MS; sister, Deborah H Joiner of Meridian, MS; daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Lance Eskridge of Sturgis, MS and grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Eskridge of Nashville, TN, and great-grandchild Augustine Bush Eskridge, Nicholas Eskridge of Sturgis, MS, Benjamin Eskridge of Sturgis, MS; daughter and son-in-law, Sharron and Todd McKinney of Brandon, MS and grandchild Mary Delaney McKinney of Denver, CO; daughter Melissa Nichole Roberts of Meridian, MS; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jewel Hearn.

Visitation will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Mediator, 3825 35th Ave, Meridian, MS 39305 on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 12 noon. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Gentiva Hospice for the care that our mom received.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Mary.
