Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Evelyn Rutherford will be held at 12:00PM, Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Mary Rutherford, age 90, passed away on Friday, September 06, 2024, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Mary was a faithful member to Bethel United Methodist Church, enjoyed being a Preacher's wife, and loved serving the Lord. Mary was a very patriotic, strong willed woman, but mainly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a big heart for her family. Mary would do anything she could to help and loved to spoil her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary had a passion for cooking, but really loved shopping and enjoyed being a big spender. Mary had many close friends and family, and will be dearly missed.

Mary is survived by her two children, Margaret Ann Faulk (Mark) and Bert Rutherford, Jr. (Sharon); three grandchildren, Beth Wolfe (Kevin), Jennifer Rutherford (Blake Romero), and Joshua Rutherford, and six great-grandchildren, Daniel Cuevas, Ashly Cuevas, Gracie Graham, James and Kenneth Wolfe, and Jolene Rutherford, "The prettiest baby she ever did see".

Mrs. Rutherford is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Hubert C. Rutherford, Sr.; parents, William Baker and Carrie James Dollar, and six siblings, Raymond Gressett, Dorothy Speed, Katherine Freeman, Robert Gressett, Marie Gressett R., and Mattie Wedgeworth.

Pallbearers will be family.
