Funeral services for Mary S. Sheffield will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Old Marion Cemetery.
Mrs. Sheffield, age 82, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Malone; son, Danny Sheffield; daughter-in-law, Marsha Sheffield; grandchildren, Tim, Terrah, James Daniel, Dylan, Reagan, Michael, Kimberly, Chris, and Luther Wayne Jr.; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Ella Spence; brothers, Houston Shelton Sr. and Aubrey Shelton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Luther Sheffield; son, Luther Wayne Sheffield Sr.; parents, Henry Rhodes Shelton and Eula Mae Westbrook Shelton; brothers, Cecil Shelton, David Elias Shelton, and Jasper Shelton; sisters, Lois Tims, Doris Robinson, Ada Stephens, and Mardell Wood.
Pallbearers will be Michael Shelton Jr., William Joiner, James Daniel Sheffield, Tim Sheffield, Henry Shelton, and James Robinson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Ray Robinson and Chris Sheffield.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
