Mary Ann Spencer

Private graveside services for Mrs. Mary Ann Spencer will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Richard Wallace officiating.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mary Ann was born on December 17, 1941 and raised in Greene County, Alabama.  She was salutatorian of her graduating class at Greene County High School.  She worked in the banking industry, most recently at First Mississippi Federal Credit Union, where she retired.  She was a faithful member and prayer warrior at Hebron Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Larry Spencer; her children, David Allen Spencer (Kathy), JoAnn Spencer Roberts (Derek), and Kimberly Spencer Johnson (Wade); one sister, Earline Harper; eight grandchildren, Alexsis Yeako (Ryan), Susan Cugno (Sal), Deanna Roberts, Matt Roberts (Jallena), Jered Johnson, Kristen Roberts, Joshua Johnson (Megan), and Noah Johnson; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Spencer was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Cathleen Upchurch, and her siblings, Cecil Upchurch, Harvey Upchurch, James Upchurch, and Fannie Mae Walker.

Honorary pall bearers will be Mrs. Spencer’s grandsons.

Memorial contributions may be shared with the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4795 Vimville-Causeyville Road, Meridian, Mississippi 39301.
