Burial will be in the church cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Sutter, 96 of Whynot, died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Regency Hospital. She just stepped out into eternity to begin her first 10,000 years with her God. She has claimed the victory that is promised to God's people. She was surrounded by close friends and family as she passed with the grace and elegance that defined her life. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was a longtime member of Bethany Baptist Church and the Friendship Garden Club. Her friends were special people in her life. Her daily walk with God was such a great example of a life built on faith and a personal relationship with God that never waivered. She had a heart filled with love and compassion for people. She lived her life for the benefit of others as demonstrated by the deep respect that she had of her family and friends. She was such a great example of a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed by so many, but ultimately she found her eternal peace with God and for that we are so thankful. The precious memories we have of her will be a great source of strength and peace for us in the days ahead.
