Mary Ann Swift

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Swift will begin at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Russell Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Taylor and Bro. Jack Kern officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Swift, 65, of Meridian went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 14, 2018 at her residence.

Mary Ann was born in Selma, AL and was a member of Russell Baptist Church; she worked with Meridian Hotel and Restaurant Supply for over 32 years. Mary Ann devoted her life to loving and caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Wayne Swift; her children, Chris (Lindsey) Swift and Kristi Swift. Grandchildren, Will Swift, and Sarah Pierce Swift. One brother, Ricky Lindsey; sister in law, Ann (Greg) Gentry, and brothers in law, Victor (Kay) Swift and Andy Allen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Ruth Lindsey; sons, Brian Swift and Anthony Swift.

The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.

Pallbearers will be Will Swift, Tyler Lindsey, Jim Daniels, David Holifield, Jordon Read, Josh Hopkinson and Jeff Lindsey.
