Funeral Services for Mrs. Beatrice Taylor will begin at 12 noon, Monday, July 24, 2017 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Rev. Jack Kern and Bro. Jerry Marlow officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Taylor, age 100, of Meridian passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at DiversiCare of Meridian.
Mrs. Taylor was a faithful worker in her church, where she taught Sunday-School for many years. She also enjoyed spending time with her late husband in their garden. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her Daughters, Cherryl Marlow (Jerry), Geraldine Higginbotham, and Faye Woodard. Son Robert Earl Taylor (Wanda). Eight Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Sister Gwen Dearman and Brother Milton L. “Buddy” Miller (Mary Elizabeth).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Grady Taylor and her parents Walter and Vera Hall Miller. Brothers, Creighton Miller, James Miller, Billy Miller, Howard “Moody” Miller and Ed Miller. Son-in-Law Robert Higginbotham and Daughter-in-Law, Eva Ruth Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Mike Marlow, Steve Marlow, David Taylor, Lee Higginbotham, Tim Triplett and Chris Robbins.
