Mary Virginia Eldridge

Funeral services for Virginia Eldridge will be held Monday, August 8, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Brother Davey Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be at Lynville United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lynville, Mississippi.

Mrs. Eldridge, 91, of Lauderdale, passed away August 5 at Bedford Care Center in Marion.

Virginia was a longtime member of Lauderdale United Methodist Church, where she was the Sunday school teacher for fifteen years.

She is survived her children, James E. McLaurin and wife, Charlotte, Jennie Szelich of Canton, Georgia, and Al Eldridge of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Wilson, niece, Linda McGehee and nephew, Steve Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Eldridge.
