Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Maurisio Hector Gonzalez Zuniga will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Doug Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Gonzalez Zuniga, age 21, of Meridian passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025.

Maurisio Hector Gonzalez Zuniga was born on March 4, 2004 in Gainsville, Florida to his parents, Ariel Gozalez Vera and Lidia Zuniga Alvarez. He graduated from Clarkdale High School in 2023.

He is survived by his parents, Ariel Gonzalez Vera (Judith) and Lidia Zuniga Alvarez; siblings, Ariel Gonzalez Zuniga, Natalie Gonzalez Zuniga, and Emily Gonzalez Zuniga; and numerous other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ariel Gonzalez Vera, Ariel Gonzalez Zuniga, Alejandro Ortiz, Juan Corona, Fortunato Olvera, and Rigoberto Garcia.
