Funeral services for Mrs. Melanie McLelland will begin at 1:00 PM Friday, June 9,2023 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverend Davey Wilkinson and Mr. Ty Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery-Bonita. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. McLelland, 62, of Meridian, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023 at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Melanie loved being a mom; she loved her children they were her pride and joy. Her granddaughter was the apple of her eye. She was a devoted Christian and follower of Christ. She had the gift of gab and never met a stranger. Melanie loved being outdoors and gardening, working with her flowers, plants, and doing her own yardwork. She was a lover of all animals and always kept pets. She loved her chihuahua, Pebbles and her King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Eli.

Melanie is survived by her children Andrea Ford (Garrett) and Kevin McLelland (Ashley); her granddaughter, Heidi McLelland; one sister, Belinda Donald; one nephew, Brad Donald(Sabrina); her great-niece, Katherine Donald, as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Mrs. McLelland is preceded in death by her parents, Martin Ray and Melwyn Shirley.
