Melvis B. Hunt Snowden Services for Melvis B. Hunt Snowden will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend John Luckie and Brother Wayne Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Pine Springs Southern Methodist Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Snowden, age 91, of Pine Springs Community, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at her home. She was a charter member of Hope Bible Church of Collinsville. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She always made you feel welcome in her home. Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Hunt and wife, Donna, of Pine Springs Community; Tommy Hunt and wife, Georga, of Collinsville; Brother Wayne Hunt and wife, Darla, of Collinsville; grandchildren, Karen Spangler and husband, Wes; Dawn Woods and husband, Edgar; Renee Hunt; Terry Hunt and wife, Leah; Wayne Hunt Jr. and wife, Nikki; Angela Glebe and husband, Brian; Jamie Harrell; Justin Hunt and wife, Krisstel; Ethan Hunt; Malorie Hunt; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Dr. Leonard Oliver Byrd, of Pine Springs Community; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nate and Virgie Byrd; husbands, James Hunt and RV Snowden; son, William Terry Hunt; brothers Corbert Byrd; Roger Byrd; Roscoe Byrd; sisters, Vivian Williams; Christine Moore; and Ruby Rogers. The family requests memorials be made to Hope Bible Church of Collinsville. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Family and Friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
