Joseph Micah Redmond Service for Joseph Micah Redmond will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 2:30 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Justin Keene officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Redmond, 18, of Meridian, died Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Ellisville, MS. He was a student athlete at Jones County Jr. College where he was awarded a scholarship with the men's soccer team. Micah was a 2012 graduate of Clarkdale High School where he played soccer, football, baseball and tennis. He worked as youth soccer referee. Survivors include his mother, ReCheal Myers and her husband Michael of Meridian; father, Joseph Redmond of Meridian; brother, Joshua Redmond of Meridian; sisters, Allie Redmond of Meridian and Cassie Pourciau of New Roads, LA; grandparents, Janet Pugh of Meridian, Ed Reeves of Meridian, Richard and Cynthia Redmond of Enterprise, MS, Jim Gault of Fayetteville, TN, Jeanie and Scott Sanders and Mike Myers. In lieu of flowers and gifts the family requests memorials be made to the Clarkdale football program, Upward Soccer at New Hope Baptist Church, or the Wesley House. Pallbearers will be Matt Taylor, Mason Tabb, Gabe Shelby, Corey Skinner, John Caldwell, Chad Hinton, Colin Duke, and Adam Long.
