Memorial services for Mr. Michael Brandon Stokes will begin at 2:30 on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Bro. Doug Stokes officiating. The family will receive guests from 12:30 until 2:15 prior to the memorial service on Saturday. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Brandon was born on Christmas Day, 1986, to Kenny and Suzette Stokes. He graduated from Kemper Academy and attended East Mississippi Community College. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. If you were to ask Brandon about himself, he would tell you: "I am a Christian and a father before anything else." On October 25, 2020, he and his wife, Barbie Jane Folse were united in marriage; together, they enjoyed travelling and spending time with one another. He was a talented and hard worker who, along with his close friend and business partner, J.J. Warren, founded "Do It All Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, LLC" in November of 2024. He enjoyed boxing, spending time on Okatibbee lake, and spending time with his children.
Survivors include his wife, Barbie Jane Folse Stokes; children, Jackson James Gibbon, Annaleigh Kate Stokes, Brayden Lee Stokes, Forrest Shane Stokes, and Madison Grace Stokes; parents, Kenny and Suzette Stokes; brother, Christopher Allen Stokes; his business partner and close friend, Jack "J.J." Warren; paternal grandmother, Eddie Mae Stokes; mother-in-law, Shonda Folse; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Baileigh Nichole Stokes and his grandparents, Jeff R. Stokes and Ivan H "Pop" and Susie Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Brandon be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
