Millie Young Burrage Services for Millie Young Burrage will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Dr. John Temple, Reverend James Ruffin and Reverend Chris Vowell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Burrage, 86, of Meridian died April 1, 2013, at Regency Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on December 10, 1926, in Liberty, South Carolina to Thomas Wesley and Ora Kelly Young and lived there until moving to Meridian, Mississippi in 1960, where she lived until her death. Mrs. Burrage is survived by her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Jennings Wyatt Burrage. They were married on October 20, 1945, in Greenville, South Carolina. She is also survived by her children, Judi Shirley (Barry) of Columbia, South Carolina, Thomas R. Burrage of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Amy Warren (Paul) of Madison, Mississippi; grandchildren, Scott Simmons, Darren Simmons, Sara Burrage, Matthew Warren and Zachary Warren. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the nurses at Regency Hospital for their special care.
