Minnie Inez Gray-Thompson Services for Minnie Inez Gray-Thompson will be held Monday, October 15, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Sephus Garrett and Reverend Lamar Lifer officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Thompson, 85, of Meridian died Friday, October 12, 2012, at Aldersgate Retirement Center. She was a long time active member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed her membership in The International Singing Brakeman Association (TISBA). Survivors include her daughter Judi Gray of Meridian, Sherry Gray of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; grandchildren Russ Andreacchio and wife Lisa, Celeste Fletcher and husband Dr. Reid Fletcher, Ryan Held and wife Kara, Brandt Held and wife Lisa, and Paige Held and husband Dr. Channing Coe; eight great-grandchildren; sisters Pat Newell and Jane Polansky and husband Tommy; brother Charles Garrett and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Adrian Gray; parents Sam Garrett, Sr. and Ora Garrett, sister Mary Castle, brothers Billy Joe Garrett, Wallace Garrett and Sam Garrett, Jr. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com.
