Mona Caroyl Wall Marshall Mona Caroyl Wall Marshall, a long-time resident of Meridian, died Monday, October 13, 2014. Born February 15, 1939 in Hattiesburg, MS, Mrs. Marshall was a graduate of Meridian High School and the University of Southern Mississippi. She was a devoted English and Speech teacher at Meridian Public Schools and a loving homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Doug Marshall; son, Doug Marshall and wife, Christy of Birmingham, AL; son, Dave Marshall and wife, Susan of Hendersonville, NC; son, Monte Marshall and wife, Emily of Birmingham, AL; son, Mitchel Marshall and wife, Kristen of Meridian, MS; sister, Belle Jo Johnson and husband, Bobby of Jackson, MS; and brother, Stacey Wall and wife, Lynn of Madison, MS. Grandchildren include Deanna, Adrienne, and Eric Marshall; Jamie, Grayson, and Brooks Marshall; Cheryl Kaye Marshall; and Carol Joy "CJ" Marshall. Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Bernice Wall of Jackson, MS and her older brother William Louis Wall Jr. of Hattiesburg, MS. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to Gideon's International, Meridian East Gideon Camp, P.O. Box 5044, Meridian, MS 39302 Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. and Friday, October 17, 2014 from 9:45 a.m.- 10:45 a.m. at Barham Family Funeral Home.
