Mose Laverne "Bub" Vick

Funeral services for Mr. Mose L.  “Bub” Vick will begin at 2:00 pm Friday, December 14, 2018 in the chapel of Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Trosper, Bro. Jim Wall and Bro. Jay Parker officiating. Interment will be held at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Vick, 84, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Mr. Vick was a faithful member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Meridian. Mr. Vick was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a craftsman and enjoyed wood working and restoring furniture, as well as gardening, music, fishing and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Vick is survived by his wife Dorothy “Dot” Parker Vick; and daughter, Denise McKinion (Kevin). Grandchildren, Curtis McKinion (Jennifer), Emily McKinion Herman (Zach); great grandson, John Curtis McKinion. Sisters, Earline Wall, Chyrel Francis; Brothers, Elwood Vick, Charles Vick, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Therman and Irvine Vick; sister, Sadie Mitchell and brother, Dewitt Vick.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Bruce Mitchell, Greg Mitchell, Tony Vick, Devlyn Vick, Todd Vick, and special friend, Shane Simmons.
