Myra Virginia Colson

Mrs. Myra Virginia "Jenny" Colson, age 86, of Meridian, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Myra was a strong, beautiful, loving and caring, mother and grandmother. She would do anything for her grandchildren. Myra would always go out of her way to help her family and to take care of them. Myra especially cared for her cat, Missy.

Myra was a hardworking and dependent employee at Peavy for 20+ years and eventually retired. Everyone she ever worked with her, loved and enjoyed being around her.

Myra was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Myra is survived by her children: Anthony Colson (Linda), Regina C. Briggs (Kendall), and Blaine Colson; grandchildren, Austin Colson and Rebecca Butts (Vinson), and sister, Mary Berry, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mrs. Colson is preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Colson; parents, Myer and Montez Bradshaw, and three siblings.

In lieu of donations, the Colson family requests memorial be made to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Foundation.
