"There is a heavenly garden in which God takes great pleasure because He's placed within it the loved ones that we treasure" and Mrs. Goodman, 91, of Marion, MS joined her heavenly father in his garden on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at The Oaks nursing facility in Meridian, MS. Survivors include her daughter, Claudia Rowland of Marion; her grandchildren, Richard Rowland and his wife Keltoum of Hattiesburg, Scot Rowland and his wife Michelle of Marion, and Kim Glicco and her husband Derek of Meridian; great grandchildren, Nadia Rowland of Hattiesburg, and AnnaKatharine and Alexandria Rowland of Marion; special family friends Mary Jo Lee (Brad) and her two children Jessie Smith (Smitty) and Lucas Dickson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Hal Leon Goodman, her son-in-law Donald Rowland, her parents BB and Annie Harper, her sisters Louise New Snowden and Orina Rawson, and her brothers Melvin Harper and Everett Harper.
