Myrtle Tibbetts Hamilton Abel

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Abel will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. The Reverends Mark Flynn and Meil Wigley will officiate the service. Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Abel, age 92, of Meridian passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Specialty Hospital of Meridian.

Mrs. Abel was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her son, Franklin (Patricia) Hamilton; step-daughter, Bettye Abel (Ken) Coble; grandson, Steven (Renee) Hamilton; granddaughters, Angelia (Nathan) Austin, Randa (Neil) Wigley, and Robin (Joey) Acord; step-grandson Christopher (Chelsey) Hines; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, K Dewitt Hamilton and George C. Abel; her parents; and her sister, Sarah Tibbetts.

The family requests that donations be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church of Meridian.
