Nancy Noblin Anders Services for Nancy Noblin Anders will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 11:30 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Aubrey Martin officiating. Mrs. Anders, 71, of Meridian, died Sunday, October 10, 2010 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Meridian. Mrs. Anders graduated from Meridian High School. She attended Ms. College for Women and graduated from LaSalle Institute of Design. She worked as a decorator for many years at Anders Furniture Company. Mrs. Anders enjoyed working as a teacher's aide at Oakland Heights Elementary School and also as a volunteer at Anderson Cancer Center. She was a talented artist and has had several of her pieces on display at the Lucas Road Art Gallery, Meridian, MS. Mrs. Anders attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church where she was involved with the Seniors Group. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, enjoying the arts and being with people. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Colvin and her husband Ronnie of Madison; sons, David Anders of Meridian and Jason Anders of Canton; grandchildren, Matthew Colvin of Panama City Beach, FL, Emily Lane Colvin and Hillary Colvin of Oxford, MS, Heather Anders and Bradley Anders of Meridian; brother, W.C. Noblin, Jr. "Buddy" and his wife Judy of Jackson; niece, Julie Johnson and her husband Jonathan of Atlanta, GA; several grand nieces, nephews and cousins; her dear and special friend, Albert Morton of Meridian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Cunningham Noblin and W.C. Noblin, Sr. The family request memorials be made to Anderson Cancer Center Patient Benevolent Fund.
