Nancy Elizabeth Laprade Hamilton Services for Nancy Elizabeth Laprade Hamilton will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Reverend Brian Ponder officiating. There will be a private family graveside service at Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Nancy, age 95, of Meridian, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was born on April 1, 1918 to William Thomas Laprade and Nancy Calfee Laprade in Durham, N.C. Nancy was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and St. Martin's Guild, and was a former member of Galaxy and Crescent Clubs. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Elizabeth Hamilton of Meridian; sons, William Thomas Laprade Hamilton and wife, Lee Morrison Hamilton of Daphne, AL, and John Lloyd Hamilton and wife, Beth Mitchell Hamilton of Tallahassee, FL; granddaughter, Rosalie Elizabeth Hamilton Thomas and husband, Brynmore Thomas of United Arab Emirates; grandson, William Thomas Laprade Hamilton, Jr. and wife, Amanda Robert Hamilton of Madisonville, LA; one great-grandson, William Thomas Laprade Hamilton, III; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James David Tillman Hamilton; and son, James David Tillman Hamilton, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Love's Kitchen or the charity of your choice.
