Nancy Hand

Graveside services for Mrs. Nancy Hand will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Pine Grove Church Cemetery in the Martin Community with Bro. Keith Lovett officiating.

Mrs. Nancy Hand, age 87, of Collinsville, MS, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at home with her family by her side.

She was known by many in the community as Aunt Nancy, because of the care she gave to all of her family and neighbors. Nancy took pride in taking care of her homeplace and could always be found working in her yard.

Nancy was a member of Pine Grove Church and also attended Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church. She worked as an office manager for many years in the healthcare industry. She and her husband loved to attend and host bluegrass music festivals.

She is survived by her daughter, Eyvonne Hand, sisters; Bettie Stephens, Peggy Jo Maiden, Jane Anderton, Hattie Thames, and Marjorie Ryals, and many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Ellis Hand, parents, Ambrose Flynnt Maiden and Mary Madge Maiden, brothers, Donald Maiden and Freddie Maiden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Pine Grove Cemetery fund in the Martin community.
