Nancy Worley Ziller

A Celebration of life for Ms. Nancy Worley Ziller will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at The Episcopal Church of the Mediator with The Reverend Morris Thompson officiating with a reception to follow. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Ms. Ziller, age 78, of Meridian passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at her residence.

Nancy was a graduate of Meridian High School, and received a Bachelors of Arts degree from Millsaps College where she was a member of Chi Omega.

Nancy enjoyed hobbies such as showing dogs, painting, writing poetry, calligraphy, and singing in a band. Her poetry has been published in the Mississippi Poetry Journal and one of her poems was used for several years by a commander at the Naval Air Station- Meridian who passed it along to student pilots earning their wings.

Nancy’s passion was loving her grandchildren and serving others through the Church. She was a Sunday school teacher, lector, chalice bearer, choir member and served as a member of the Vestry and various committees.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Episcopal Church of the Mediator.

Survivors include her children, Leigh Ziller, Leslie Ziller (Bryan) Timmons, and John (Regina) Ziller; grandchildren, Allyn Chesney (Jake) Sisson, Brynn Chesney, Laney Chesney, Devyn Chesney, Graham Chesney, Cameron Timmons, Brayden Timmons, Lindsey Ziller, Duncan Ziller, and Tyler Ziller; great-grandson, Gavin Sisson; her beloved dog, Toby; many friends; and her Mediator Family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Louise Smith Worley and one brother, Jim Worley.
