Nannie Claire Vincent Thornell Graveside services for Nannie Claire Vincent Thornell will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Owen officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Thornell, age 88, of Meridian passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Bedford Care Center. Mrs. Thornell was a member of College Park United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Center Hill High School and East Mississippi Community College. She worked as a secretary with Minor Edger Works in Meridian and Jones Truck Lines in Webb City, Missouri. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and working with flowers in her yard. Survivors include her son, Wesley James Thornell and wife, Sam of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Matthew and Ethan Thornell of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Charles Benjamin Vincent, Jr. and wife, Mary Ann of Meridian; sister, Charlene Vincent Clayton of Meridian; nieces and nephews, Harold Irby, Melvin Irby, Norma Kay Cushing, Glenn Parker, Peggy Eakes, Amy Price, Todd Clayton, and Jane Cory. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Herschel Thornell; parents, Charles B. Vincent Sr. and Adele Walston Vincent; sisters, Dorothea Vincent Parker, Mae Delle Vincent Irby, and Mable Frances Vincent. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
