Nathan "Nate" D. Harris

Nathan DeeWayne Harris, 36, of Meridian, MS, passed away on October 3, 2023, at UMMC in Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM, Friday, October 6, 2023, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, October 6, 2023, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home's Chapel with Brother Lewis May and Brother Kenneth Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Community Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Nathan was born in Meridian, MS to Ronald and Debra Harris on May 16, 1987. He attended and graduated from Clarkdale Attendance Center. He graduated from Meridian Community College with an Associate of Electronics and an Associate of Telecommunications. He worked several places but his latest job was as a technician for CUI Systems for several years. He was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. Some of Nathan's favorite things that he enjoyed were fishing, working on cars and other projects in his shop. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. Nathan took pride in doing for others, and he will be deeply missed by many.

Nathan is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Nathaniel Burks of Neshoba County; Paternal Grandmother, Katherine Olevia Riley Harris of Meridian, MS; and Paternal Grandfather, XL "Jack" Harris of Meridian, MS.

Nathan is survived by his Parents, Ronald Harris and Debra Burks Harris of Meridian, MS; Sister, Elizabeth Harris Fisher (Patrick) of Meridian, MS; Nephew, Jaxon Fisher and Niece, Katie Fisher of Meridian, MS; and Maternal Grandmother, Judy Manning Burks of Neshoba County.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Kelly, Tim Cade, Sam Kidd III, Josh Moulds, J.T. Godwin, and Jared Cooley.
