Nelda Tisdale Wade

Funeral services for Nelda Tisdale Wade will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ryan Wade and Rev. Lannis May officiating. Burial will follow at Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County with Rev. Cliff Barker officiating at the graveside.

Nelda Tisdale Wade was born on June 27, 1927 and passed away on April 25, 2019 at Rush Specialty Hospital. She was 91 years old.

Nelda loved her Lord, her church, and her family.

She is survived by her sons, Dudley Tisdale (Annette) and Scott Tisdale (Lauran), stepson, Robbie Wade (Wendy), and Lynn Wade; grandchildren, Jessica Moore (Ryan), Jaclyn Schmidt (Fred), Jan Trayal (Chase), Holli Fleming (Grant), Daniel Wade (Ashley), Adam Wade, Jason Wade (Christy), and Ryan Wade (Somer); sixteen great-grandchildren; brother, Dan Webb Long (Marlyn) of Panama City, FL; sisters, Bobbie Jean Marshall, of Sumter, S.C., Donna Eldridge of Meridian; and numerous other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan Garland and Bernice Webb Long; husbands, Leo S. Tisdale, Jr. and Robert Wade; brothers, Willard Wayne Long and Lewis Davis Long; and her step-son, Chris Wade.

Pallbearers will be Grant Fleming, Fred Schmidt, Chase Trayal, Colton Tisdale, Derek Crocker and Kenny Hamner.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 1:00 until service time at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
